Gifts to the school district become the property of the school district and are deposited into a separate account, expended at the discretion of the Superintendent and School Committee as provided by law (MGL 71.37A).

The acceptance or rejection of gifts, whether general or specific in nature, offered to the Millis Public Schools is the prerogative of both the Millis School committee and the Superintendent of Schools.
