Recognition for Millis High School:  With the start of the school year, Millis High School has received some national and state recognition.  US News and World Reports has ranked Millis High School in the top 6% of schools nationally.  Millis High School ranked 1,041 out of 17,901 high schools nationally, 45th in Massachusetts, and 37th in the Metro-Boston area.  Especially notable is the magazine’s ranking of Millis for College Readiness and College Curriculum Breadth.  College Readiness measures the proportion of 12th graders who took and passed an AP course, and College Breadth measures 12th graders taking and passing multiple AP classes.  Millis was in the top 3% of schools nationally in both categories and was ranked 24th in the state in Readiness and 21st in the state in Breadth.  We'd like to congratulate our students for their performance on these metrics and our staff for helping students gain the confidence and academic skills to perform at these high levels.

Boston MagazineOn the state level, Boston Magazine ranked Millis High School 46th among greater Boston High Schools.  For the fourth time in five years, Millis was once again included among the 10 Boston area high schools recognized for “Most Bang for Your Housing Buck.”  These were schools whose rankings most “significantly surpassed the ranking of their respective median home price.”
