Enjoy February Break!

Dear Families,
As we move to our February break, we are encouraged that the COVID-19 numbers for our school, town, and state are down. After the break we are looking forward to welcoming more students back in a systematized manner. Although we welcome the break as a much needed respite from the routine for our students, families, and staff, we are also aware that following breaks at Thanksgiving and the holidays there was an increase in COVID-19 cases in our community and schools. We ask once again that families seriously consider the impact of out of state travel and larger group gatherings during February vacation. All families are reminded that the Governor’s travel order remains in place and that students who travel out of state must follow the guidelines before returning to school. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the nurse at your child’s school.
I hope all of our families have a chance to relax and recharge during February break. The days are getting longer and there are still brighter days ahead. We wish all of our students, staff, and their families a great week!
