Internet Issues in the Schools
Published on Dec 7, 2020 18:05
Good evening,
Today there was an interruption to Internet service at
the Clyde Brown School and Millis Middle/High School buildings. Crews
are currently working on the issue (an external issue not in the
schools) and we will hopefully have Internet service restored by
tomorrow morning. In the event that service is not restored by the time
school starts, teachers will be providing remote students with
asynchronous assignments that can be done at home offline. In-person
students should report to school as usual and will be taught in-person.
If we begin school without Internet, we will notify families as soon as
it is restored.
Additionally, currently the Middle/High School
building does not have telephone access. Parents calling in students
for attendance reasons should leave a message on each school's
attendance line and staff will be able to access that information from
their cell phones. If a parent/guardian needs to contact the middle or
high school in an emergency situation, they should call the Clyde Brown
School (508-376-7003) and the message will be relayed over to the
middle/high school building. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Again, we are hoping for all of these issues to be resolved early
tomorrow.
Best,
Bob Mullaney
Superintendent
