Dear Millis families,

The Millis School Committee voted on Tuesday, Oct. 13th, to approve transitioning to a Hybrid model for those students who wish to be in school in person, starting next week. Students who wish to remain in Remote Learning may do so.  If you have not already responded to the survey to indicate your choice, please contact the school office to make sure we have the correct information on your choice of Hybrid or Long Term Remote Learning for each of your children.

The Hybrid model will allow students to come back into our schools for two days per week in assigned cohorts.  Cohort A will come to school Monday and Tuesday, starting October 19th.  Cohort B will come to school Thursday and Friday, starting October 22nd..  All students will continue to be remote on Wednesday.  The Long Term Remote model will allow students to continue working from home. They may attend the remote days of both Cohort A and B or may have some asynchronous learning.  All five days will be remote for Long Term Remote students.

Millis Schools will be using an attestation application during Hybrid Learning. Each week, parents or caregivers will be required to attest to the fact that their child is free of COVID-19 symptoms, has not traveled to a high risk state, nor has been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. The attestations app may be used on a mobile phone or accessed via the web. Directions and specific details will be sent this week.

We have brought together much information on the safety protocols and procedures we have put in place to help ensure the health and safety of our students and staff into one document for your convenience:
