Meet the Principal Candidates!

Hear about their background, and ask questions tomorrow, Wednesday, March 4 at 6:30pm in the cafeteria.  It is important to welcome the candidates with a strong showing of parents and guardians at this event.  Feedback will be collected to share with the Superintendent to inform her final decision. Please make every effort to attend this important event.  Here is some information on each of the finalist candidates:


Anita Mecklenburg is currently working in the Norfolk Public Schools as a .5 Curriculum Director of English/Language Arts & Social Studies and a .5 Assistant Principal at the H. Olive Day School (PreK-2).  Previous experience includes classroom teaching in the Franklin Public Schools and the Early Childhood Coordinator and Integrated Preschool Teacher in the Rockland Public Schools. Ms. Mecklenburg holds a MS in School Administration from Endicott College.


Tanna Jango is currently the Assistant Principal at Robinson Elementary School in Mansfield.  Previous experience includes work as a Special Education Teacher and Team Chair in the Northborough Public Schools, Kindergarten, Elementary, and Special Education classroom experience in the Mendon-Upton Regional School District, as well as classroom teaching in Upton, Blackstone-Millville Regional Schools and Chelsea Public Schools.  Ms. Jango holds a CAGS in School Administration from American International College and a M.Ed. from Simmons University.
