Winter Sports Reminders and Meeting Tomorrow!
Published on Nov 20, 2019 14:10

Please review the below time sensitive reminders for winter sports athletes and parents:

1.  The required parent/athlete preseason meeting is tomorrow, 11/21/19, at 6:30pm in the high school cafeteria.  This is for ALL winter athletes (basketball, track, hockey, skiing, gymnastics) and a parent, even if your program is a co-op through another school!

2.  With a deadline of Tuesday 11/26, online registration at www.familyID.com/Millis-Athletics will be CLOSED from Wednesday 11/27 THROUGH Monday 12/2.  Therefore, late registrations will not be accepted until AFTER Monday 12/2, which is the first day of winter tryouts/practices.  Late paperwork such as physicals and concussion education certificates will also NOT be accepted during the closed time frame.  This means that an athlete may not participate on Monday 12/2 if their registration, physical, and/or concussion education certificate is late!

3.  Currently we are about 90 registrations short of our typical winter numbers!  ALL Millis winter athletes must be registered through the Millis FamilyID page, including those in co-op programs with Hopedale Ice Hockey, Medway Ice Hockey, or Medway Gymnastics.  No changes have been made here.  Payment is made to the individual programs, but registration and medical eligibility are through Millis.

4.  ImPACT Baseline Tests:  Please e-mail me if you think your child needs an ImPACT baseline test (or if you're not sure!).  I have time slots tomorrow 11/21 or Monday 11/25 at 3 or 4pm.  We will meet at the high school computer lab, Room 114.  My correct e-mail address is [email protected].
Thank you for your attention!
