Happy Friday, CFB Families!

With only 3+ weeks to go until the start of school, here is some information about some new staff joining the CFB family, as well as some upcoming events in the CFB community.  In the meantime, it’s officially still summer, so enjoy the great weather and family time!

Programming Changes for SY 2019-2020

Kindergarten and Grade 1 Music and Movement

We are pleased to announce that Music and Movement programming will wonderfully enhance learning for Kindergarten and Grade 1 during SY 2019-20!  Two years ago, CFB was looking for a way to expand Arts into the Kindergarten and Grade 1 curriculum in a way that complemented Tools of the Mind programming.  We were able to create a unique experience for children that used curriculum themes as a foundation, and introduced the joy of music and movement to our young learners.  This coming year, we are so pleased to, again, offer this rich sensory learning experience to our students as they combine rhythm, gross motor skills development, self-regulation and music to more deeply engage in their school learning experience!

CFB Staff Changes

This coming school year, we joyfully celebrate parenthood as Ms. Jaime Giordano, Ms. Vanessa Migo and Ms. Amie Colcord take some time to enjoy being with their newly expanded families - enjoy this special time and we will look forward to seeing you when you return!

We offer our deepest thanks to  Ms. Monica Izquierdo as she leaves our CFB family to further expand her professional horizons in the private sector - her time with us as the FLES instructor has been deeply enriching as she introduced all of our students to the joy of learning a new language.  Best of luck, Miss Monica!
