REMINDERS and UPCOMING EVENTS:
School Picture Retake Day is tomorrow, November 29th. If your child is having a retake you must send the original complete picture package back. If your child was absent, he/she will have his/her picture taken tomorrow.

New Climbing Structures--You may have noticed the new climbing structure in the front of the school. We’d like to say a HUGE Thank you to the HSA for funding these structures and to the MPS Operations Department for putting them together. Another structure is on its way soon for students to use during recess.
Hello CFB Families! HSA will be selling "Vintage 1954" CFB shirts with a rendition of the front entrance of CFB drawn by our own Mr. Poulos. Order forms will go out at the end of this week so be on the lookout.
Original works will be going home this week as well.
Please join us for our next meeting on December 12th at 7:00PM in the CFB library. Mr. Phelps and Mrs. Molloy will be joining us to discuss CFB's standards based report cards.
Curious about what a “2” means on your child’s report card? Wondering what supports are available at school for students and what you can do at home? Come find out! Please join Mr. Phelps and Mrs. Molloy on Wednesday December 12th at 7:00PM in the CFB Library for a discussion about student’s progress and report cards. Thank you to the HSA for sponsoring this discussion as part of their monthly HSA meeting.
CFB HOME & SCHOOL BOOK GIVEAWAYS
Twice each year - fall and spring - CFB HSA sponsors the Scholastic Book Fair to provide families with the opportunity to buy books for home reading. Using the incentives provided by Scholastic for hosting the Book Fair, HSA chooses to obtain books for all students K-4 at CFB, which they provide to students at no cost; this generosity is afforded to all students during the HSA Book GiveAways! This fall, our HSA Book GiveAways are as follows: Wednesday, November 28 - Grades 3 & 4; Thursday, November 29 - Grades K - 2. Thanks so much, HSA, for your generosity in promoting reading with our students!!
