Good afternoon,
Happy school vacation week! It's hard to believe that we've reached the middle of April already! I hope everyone has a restful and restorative week of vacation.
When we return to school on April 27th, there will be a week of school before we reach the mid-trimester three mark. Make-up work will be due by Friday, May 1st and students and caregivers are always welcome to reach out to school staff members with questions and inquiries regarding student progress.
This week we enjoyed a fabulous K-12 Art Show, an 8th grade field trip and special day today regarding our No Place for Hate initiatives.
Please be sure to check out this week's MMS newsletter here.
Take care,
Mrs. Hurley

Good morning Grade 8 caregivers,
Just a quick note that with MCAS starting for 8th graders tomorrow, there's an optional fun tradition for students to meet up at Country Kitchen after 6:50 to purchase their own breakfast treat and then walk to school together. Next week they have their field trip on Thursday and can either sign up in advance for a bagged school lunch or bring cash to purchase a lunch while off campus.
Have a great day!

Down 1 Bus Driver tomorrow morning. Bus 1 will combine with Bus 3 and 21. Bus 3 and 21 riders should be out at their stop 10 minutes early. Bus 1 should be at their stop at the usual time. Please notify your student's school if they miss the bus due to the change and they can arrange a pick up after morning drop off. Thank you for your patience and flexibility.

Boosterthon fun Run
Students in grades K through 5 participated in the Boosterthon Fun Run today. Excitement filled our school as the Fun Run was the topic of conversation as student entered the building. Each grade was assigned a time to gather in the gym to run up to 35 laps. We could not believe how fast our students were running around the laps! It was a great day.
We want to thank all our family volunteers who helped with marking off the laps for students and to HSA's presidents Bonnie Taylor and Kelly McMahon for organizing today's event.
We are excited to announce that this year's Boosterthon raised over $70,000. We are so grateful for your support of CFB and participation in this event!

"The Nutcracker'' will be gracing the stage at Millis High School, 245 Plain Street, for its 3-day run. The family friendly performance features music from the original Tchaikovsky Score as well as some of Duke Ellington’s variations from his Three Suites. The production runs about 90 minutes including an intermission where snacks will be available to benefit the HS Newspaper The Crimson Post.
