STUDENT INSURANCE

The availability of student insurance shall be subject to the following
regulations:
a.) Information and recommendations
relative to student insurance shall be made
annually to the School Committee by the
school administration.
b.) A description of the student
insurance plan voted by the School Committee shall be sent to all parents each
year as soon as the plan and forms are available.
c.) For students taking part in the high
school athletic program, an accident insurance group policy plan insures the
protection of an individual. Expense for such insurance
shall be borne by the Millis Public Schools.
All students who take part in sports shall be given a form explaining the School
Department policy regarding athletic injuries and that such form be signed by the
parent of the pupil and returned to the athletic authorities before being allowed to
participate in this sport.
