Fall 2017 sports and Band Registration & Important Dates!

Dear Parents and Guardians of Millis athletes and band members:

 

As always, I hope this e-mail finds you well and enjoying the summer! 

 

Fall sports and band deadlines and other important dates, as well as the link to online registration on FamilyID, are included below.  Also, please follow @MillisMohawkAT on Twitter for updates and info throughout the school year!

 

PLEASE review the information on FamilyID thoroughly for ALL the details on requirements, including deadlines and important dates, user fees, annual concussion education, online registration, physical exams, preseason meetings, and ImPACT testing.

 

**DEADLINES and other Important dates:

 

1.  ONLINE REGISTRATION AND SUBMISSION OF ANY REQUIRED PAPERWORK (Physicals, Concussion education certificates, and user fees): 

 

    ALL FOOTBALL DEADLINE:  THURSDAY AUGUST 10th

 

    ALL OTHER ATHLETES & BAND MEMBERS:  THURSDAY AUGUST 17th

-NOTE: BAND members: online registration and concussion education ONLY- no physical exam form required unless also playing a sport.  You will be able to select band in addition to a sport if necessary when registering.  Please note there is NO FEE for band.

 

2.  PRESEASON PARENT & ATHLETE MEETING (each participant and a parent/guardian are expected to attend ONE of the options):

 

        1.  HS FOOTBALL:  THURSDAY AUGUST 3rd, 6:30pm

 

        2.  ALL OTHER SPORTS & BAND:  THURSDAY AUGUST 10th, 6:30pm

 

3.  MAKE-UP MEETING (Anyone):  MONDAY AUGUST 21st, 6:30pm

    

LOCATION (all):  Football field bleachers; rain location TBD

3.  START DATES:

-HS FOOTBALL (grades 9-12) begins FRIDAY AUGUST 18th MIDDLE SCHOOL FOOTBALL (grades 7-8) begins MONDAY AUGUST 21st  

-BAND (unless otherwise notified by Ms. Norton) begins MONDAY AUGUST 21st  

-ALL OTHER SPORTS begin THURSDAY AUGUST 24thunless otherwise notified by Athletics Department or coaches.

 

UPDATE ON USER FEES-  Online payment is in effect!  Instructions provided in registration.

 

***FALL 2017 USER FEE ONLINE PAYMENT IS REQUIRED, OR payment arrangements made with the Athletics Department, to be eligible to participate***
