To the Parent’s of Millis Public Schools students’,

I know this is a hectic time of year for all of us. The Transportation Department has been working hard to solve all bussing issues. One issue was lack of space on one of our busses. I am confident we have solved this issue. Here are some changes we have had to make, starting Monday, September 17th.

THESE BUS STOPS WILL MOVE FROM BUS 1 TO BUS 8

7:35 - 261 VILLAGE ST

7:36 - VILLAGE @ APPLEROCK

7:37  - 238 VILLAGE ST

7:38 - VILLAGE @ PINEHOUSE

If your child normally rode bus 1, and gets on or off the Bus at one of the above stops, then they will now ride Bus 8. They do not need a new pass, but please have them show the pass they have to the driver.  The drivers have been informed.

THESE BUS STOPS WILL MOVE FROM BUS 9 TO BUS 1

 7:03 - VILLAGE @ HERITAGE PATH

7:03 - 92 VILLAGE

7:04 - 79 VILLAGE

7:05  - 25 BIRCH ST

7:07 - FOREST @ BOW

If your child normally rode bus 9, and gets on or off the Bus at one of the above stops, then they will now ride Bus 1. They do not need a new pass, but please have them show the pass they have to the driver.  The drivers have been informed.

Thank you in advance for helping to make this a smooth transition, and for your patience as we find solutions to all transportation issues as they arise.

Gratefully,

MaryJane Driscoll
