High School Course Selection for Current 8th Graders
Published on Apr 7, 2017 16:11

Dear Grade 8 Parents/Guardians,

On Friday, April 7th, Millis High School Counselors, Mark Awdycki and Riley Stevens, handed out the Program of Studies to 8th Grade students and explained the process of course selection for the 2017-18 school year.  Students will be selecting their courses online through PowerSchool.  Teacher recommendations have been made and are posted in the course registration area of each individual student's PowerSchool account.

Courses need to be selected in the PowerSchool system by Thursday, April 13th.  At that time the course selection system will be shutdown for outside access.  It is critical that you review your student's course selections with him/her and that they are completed on time.

If you have questions about the courses your son/daughter was recommended for, please have your son/daughter speak to their individual teacher or feel free to contact the teacher yourself.  Each teacher makes course recommendations after a great deal of time and consideration with the best interests of the students at heart.  If you have any further questions about the scheduling process, please do not hesitate to contact the School Counseling office at 508-376-7023.  We look forward to working with you through the course selection process.

Sincerely,

Mark Awdycki & Riley Stevens
