School Safety and found item
Published on Nov 29, 2016 11:19
Dear Millis Parents, Caregivers and Community Members,
I wanted to inform you that last night, Monday, Nov. 28th, there was an object found in the town park that raised concern of a possible pipe bomb. Upon investigation by police, the item was not a bomb. The police are continuing to investigate. The Police Department and the Millis schools are working to ensure student and staff safety. The attached summary provides more information regarding how we have collaborated with and meet frequently with Millis Public Safety Departments to continually increase our preparedness for situations that may threaten safety. Please reassure your children that they are safe in school and that all of our staff receive training and work closely with Police and Fire Departments to ensure their safety. Thank you.
