Remote Learning to continue through April Vacation
Published on Apr 8, 2020 15:52

After careful consideration and polling of staff,  the administration recommended, and School Committee approved, cancelling of April Vacation from Tues. April 21 to Friday April 24. Thus, remote learning will continue throughout April except for Patriot's Day, Monday, April 20th.
Our thinking is that discontinuing remote learning now and taking a vacation would disrupt the routines that students, families and teachers are now getting used to. We know that routines are essential for us all and, given the restrictions on travel, we hope that families will appreciate the consistency.
If your family has unusual circumstances and needs to utilize some of the previously scheduled vacation, please contact the Principal of your building and we will work with you to develop an approach.
I hope you are all well and finding the small joys and positive aspects of these difficult times, the family time and perhaps time for outdoor strolls. Please continue to reach out to us with any questions or concerns. Thank you for your support and patience!
My best,
Nancy Gustafson
