District News for the Week of 12-16-19
Published on Dec 16, 2019 13:20

My name is Faith Grattan and I’m a senior at Millis High School. As part of my senior project, I've chosen to fundraise for Harry, the school service dog. Harry is a two-year old black lab with a huge heart. He is in our school every day to help students with everything from stress and anxiety to developing social skills. It’s been touching to watch students interact with him, as he truly brings out the best in everyone. Harry’s emotional benefits are endless, as he helps support students with his unconditional and non-judgemental love. He is such an important part of our small school, big family. Harry came to Millis from the National Education for Assistance Dog Services (NEADS). As part of the program to receive a service dog, the school agrees to fundraise for NEADS. Hoodies for Harry is a fundraiser to reach our goal. You can order a Harry Hoodie for $35. They come in grey or white. Order forms are available in the school office or can be downloaded HERE
