listserve message for 04-08-19-Change to traffic patterns at MS/HS

Dear parents, caregivers and community members,
Due to the construction of the new elementary building there will be a change to our traffic patterns this spring:
1. During April vacation, April 12-21, the road in front of the Middle/High school will be closed. Traffic can enter as usual and exit through the construction gate.
2. After vacation the road in front of the school will be open but we will have a new drop off and pick up area for students at the Middle/High School due to encroachment of the construction fencing. Cars will NOT be allowed in the bus drop off circle, nor will cars be allowed to stop in the lane in front of the school.
Please see the attached map. Please be very careful in the parking lot as it will be congested and there will be pedestrians crossing. We will have a Police detail for a short period of time until drivers get used to the new traffic flow. Thank you for your patience.
