College Planning / College Admissions Panel Night is February 7

The School Counseling Office is excited to announce that our College Planning / College Admissions Panel Night for junior students and parents will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2019, starting at 6:30pm in the Roche Bros. Room at the Millis Public Library.  The school counselors will begin the night with a brief presentation on the college planning process followed by a college admissions panel presentation.  Representatives from UMass-Amherst, Boston College, Suffolk University, and Massachusetts Bay Community College are expected to be on hand to discuss the college admissions process and take questions from parents and students.  This promises to be a great night you don’t want to miss, where both parents and students will take away a host of useful information as our juniors begin the college/post-secondary search process.  Please contact the School Counseling Office at 508-376-7023 with any questions.

2019 AP Exam Payment Information

Taking Advanced Placement exams is an important part of all AP courses. Millis High School requires that all students take AP exams for the AP classes that they are enrolled in. Scoring well on an AP exam can often earn students college credit for their high school class, saving a significant amount on tuition.  For 2019 AP exams, students at Millis High School will be registering online.  This registration will take a few minutes and can be completed from any computer with Internet access.  This year each AP exam costs $98.00.  Students requiring financial assistance should contact Mr. Mark Awdycki, [email protected], in the School Counseling Office to learn more.

Regular Online Exam Registration will begin on Wednesday, Jan 16, 2019 at 8:00 AM and end on Fri., Feb 8, 2019 at 11:59 PM. Late registration will be from Saturday, February 9 - Friday, February 15, with a $10 late fee charged per registration.  Please get your payments in by February 8, in order to avoid the late fee.

In order to register, students should click on the "AP Exam Registration" quick link on the high school website or visit www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/221425.  To complete registration, students must answer ALL of the required questions. Registration is not complete until students have printed the PDF of the confirmation page that is provided at the end. We know that parents may desire to register their students for exams. We strongly recommend that parents and students are both present while registering to ensure that the correct exams are ordered.

Millis High School is excited to offer families the convenience of paying exam fees online at the time of registration. Please be sure to have a credit card or debit card available before beginning registration. Paying online is a great way to make sure that payment has been made while avoiding mailing payment.
