STAND UP 2011
On December 13, 2011 over 30 students from our Leadership Program participated in STAND UP 2011. They came together with many other students and teachers from all over New England. STAND UP 2011 is “a one-day program to take a stand against all forms of bullying. STAND UP 2011 has been created to educate, motivate and empower young people to actively promote positive social change in their schools and communities.” Our students enjoyed their time at Northeastern University and will use what they learned to enhance our Leadership Program.
Millis DI is top notch!

ISA School of the Year Award for Millis Middle School
It is with great pride that I announce that Millis Middle School has been awarded the "School of the Year " Award for our Spanish Immersion Program. This competition is organized by the Education Office of the Embassy of Spain in the United States and sponsored by Banco Santander Shareholders in the United States of America in collaboration with Santillana, Editorial Anaya, the Instituto Cervantes and the Comillas Foundation. The award is given to schools in the USA that show excellence in language education programs, specifically CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) programs in English and Spanish. This is a true testament to the dedication and hard work of the students, teachers and Principal Andy Zitoli, as well as the wonderful support of our families, the School Committee, and community.
